Kebony chair

ケボニーを使用したガーデンチェア。雨風にさらされることで座面の色が変化し、個性的でオリジナルなチェアになる。素材の変化を劣化ではなく、経年美化と捉えて制作した。硬い重さのあるケボニーを削り出し、その質量感を大切にデザインしている。

Garden chair made of Kebony. Exposure to rain and wind changes the color of the seat, making the chair unique and original. We created this work by considering the change in the material not as deterioration, but as beautification over time. The hard, heavy kebony is carved out, and its sense of mass was carefully designed into the design.
