京都の老舗漆店からの依頼で「包み」をテーマにデザインした漆のペンダントライトをデザインした。一つ一つ轆轤職人が木を削り出し、漆職人が仕上げている。漆の持つ柔らかな光沢感と、面で光る光源が優しい空間を作り出す。

A pendant light designed on the theme of 'wrap', by an old Urushi shop Tsutsumiasakichi urushi in Kyoto. Lamp shade is carved out of wood by a wheel-thrower and finished by a urushi craftsman. The soft sheen of the urushi and the light glowing on the surface create a gentle space.
