A color sensor for measuring the spectral reflectance of each wavelength of visible light with a small spectrometer. A tool for measuring the color of plants and printed materials. One might think that a color sensor would be used to check the color fluctuation and reproducibility of printed matter, but it can also measure plants and rocks. This color sensor measures the spectral reflection of each wavelength of visible light with a small spectrometer. For example, the surface of fruit is measured over time to investigate the process of decay, and by measuring the color of rocks, the type of geological formation can be determined. The system can also be adjusted for various other purposes using attachments. By accurately quantifying the colors that we take for granted in everyday life, we can see the world differently.
